Ateneu Comercial de Ponta Delgada is a recreational and cultural association founded 112 years ago by the entrepreneurs and merchants of Ponta Delgada. This venue was used as a place for meetings, gatherings and indoor leisure activities. Nowadays, it maintains the same essence but with an expanded reach to the whole society of Ponta Delgada, organising tournaments of indoor games, dance classes, conferences and exhibitions.
