Ponto de Partida exhibition proposes a reflection on beginnings—not only as moments of departure but as spaces of possibility and transformation. Drawing from the collection of the Caloura Cultural Center, the exhibition explores memories, influences, and paths that shape artistic creation and are reflected in the displayed works.

Building on the proposal set forth by the exhibition, this roundtable discussion proposes to reflect on cultural dynamics in the Azores. This talk will be moderated by Maria Emanuel Albergaria (anthropologist) and will feature the participation of Sofia Botelho (visual artist, mediator, and cultural producer), Vítor Almeida (teacher and visual artist), Nina Medeiros (teacher and visual artist), and Alexandre Pascoal (production director of Teatro Micaelense).
