MA Ç ARICO is a trans artist who has been living on the island of São Miguel for over a decade. During his work with Vaivém, he solidified a new project following his electronic album released a year ago, but with a lighter and more comedic approach—a mixtape in the style of Portuguese hip-hop. His music explores the socio-economic issues of São Miguel through an automatic or intrusive thought style. Represented by the label Marca Pistola since 2020, he has released six projects, including the albums Parvo, FYR, Cantigas Tuga, and Roda dos Anjos.

This performance is part of a partnership between Tremor and Vaivém, resulting in a series of showcases featuring artists who participated in their residency project.
