The Rabo de Peixe Music School, which has been marking Tremor with its astounding collaborations since the third edition of the festival, joins forces this year with Guillaume Perret to create a show that promises to expand the mind-blowing possibilities of jazz. Perret, a French saxophonist, composer and music producer known for his innovative approach and for combining jazz with elements of electronic music, rock and funk, has made a name for himself on the music scene with intense performances and his creative use of pedals and effects to expand the saxophone's sonic capabilities. In 2008, he founded the band Guillaume Perret & The Electric Epic, which attracted attention for its fusion of progressive jazz with heavy metal and contemporary music influences, and its eponymous album, released in 2012, was highly praised by critics. With a mission to explore unique musical territories, using technologies such as loop pedals and digital sound processing to create the rich textures and immersive atmospheres characteristic of Perret's work, this will be a collaboration with an outcome that promises to be as unpredictable as it is unmissable.
