An authentic sonic palimpsest, DEAFKIDS are a band in permanent mutation, with a dynamic notion of constant renegotiation, always looking to expand their creative explorations, to propose a dive into different sounds and into the different paths we can follow to arrive at a soundscape. On their latest album, Ritmos do Colapso they’ve searched for inspiration in the recent dystopian climate of the pandemic confinement to propose a search for sounds that can expand the limits of what is visual. With this they lead us into a soundtrack of imagined future scenarios, emulating the human sensations that gravitate around such a specific moment of humanity. Urgent music, reflective of the current zeitgeist, for times marked by the collapse of "democracy", justice, truth, reality and our nervous system.
