Ari, born in Portugal and raised in Cape Verde, stepped into the music scene early, experimenting with beatbox and percussion. Since 2012, he has explored Fruity Loops Studio to combine ancient and digital cultural influences, creating a sonic fusion that is expressed live with a loopstation and percussion. Over the years, he collaborated on several projects, such as the musical production of the album Meia Riba Calxa, by Tristany. Débora N’Jiokou aka Deby is a French dancer who specialises in hip hop and house. As a dancer and performer, she participated in the play Dans(e) house by the company Chantiers Publics.

The stage debut of this meeting between the two artists will take place at Tremor, in collaboration with the Lingua Franca collective, which will develop an artistic residency with the artists at Museu do Tabaco, in the parish of Maia, in the municipality of Ribeira Grande.
