Anita Nemet is a Ukrainian multidisciplinary artist, curator, performer, and DJ performing under the names “hello amanita” and “Professor C@nt” gonna present a collaboration creating experimental musical performance alongside their 10-year-old son, Olan who’s interest in musical experiments takes part since very young age. Together, they will cook a mixture of Ukrainian sound, unpacking cultural code of ethno melodies, the avant-garde electronic music of the late ’80s and ’90s, nostalgic pop and euro dance, and  contemporary wartime music.

Anita and Olan were born and raised in Khmelnytsky, Ukraine, last few years before the full scale invasion of the Russian army on the territory of Ukraine in 2022 was living in Lviv, a big cultural center of western part of the country. As a cultural worker and researcher Anita had an opportunity to deepdive into history of musical avantgard of second part of XX century of the region that made a big impact on her artistic practice involving music, having a background in classical music playing a violin and singing jazz she always paid attention to the diversity of Ukrainian sounds. Olan Nemet was raised in artistic communities and since early years showed his interest specifically to electronic sounds taking part in musical jam sessions in Radio Garage (current name House of Sound) - municipal institution specialising on experimental forms of sound. Officialy stated their institutional collaboration with mother in 2021 making an audio visual performance ““Up to the Knees in Generations” in DCCC (Dnipro center of contemporary culture). 

Due to the war in Ukraine Anita and Olan were forced to leave their home to find a safe place abroad. In July 2022 they moved to Sao Miguel and have resided there since.
